Office flooring in Singapore: when SPC is the right call

It is dry-laid with no curing time, passed an SGS castor-chair test at 25,000 cycles, and costs from ~S$1.55 per sqft. Busy corridors, reception areas and rolling loads need a thicker wear layer or carpet tile.

Where to think twice
Main corridors, reception and lift lobbies see grit and trolleys. Our 0.3 mm wear layer is not designed for that level of traffic; consider a thicker commercial LVT, carpet tile or tile there. Server rooms and labs may need ESD flooring.
Chairs, noise and programme
Our planks passed ISO 4918 castor chair testing at 25,000 cycles with no visible damage. For upper floors, the 6.5 mm build with bonded 2 mm IXPE reduces impact sound. Click-lock installation has no wet trade, so a 1,000 sqft room is typically laid by one crew in a day or two depending on the subfloor.
Over existing tiles
Many office units already have tiles. If they are sound and flat, SPC can float over them; the 6 mm build has a heavier core for overlay. See installing SPC over existing tiles.
