Why this matters

A low per-sqft price can still end up costing more.

A quote that leaves out skirting, removal or delivery can look cheaper at first, and the missing lines then appear as extra charges.

Asking for each line in writing before you sign protects you. It also makes two quotes easy to compare, because you compare the same scope.
