Questions and answers
Can SPC be used in restaurants?
In low to moderate traffic dining rooms, yes. Commercial kitchens, wet prep areas and very busy front-of-house need a thicker wear layer or a different floor.
Is SPC slip resistant?
Our planks were tested by SGS for dynamic coefficient of friction (EN 13893) and passed. Ask us for the result page if your project needs a specific slip rating.
Is SPC water-resistant enough for F&B spills?
The core is highly water-resistant, so spills and mopping are fine. Standing water should be wiped up because it can reach the joints.
