Why it matters
Two quotes can look different because they describe different work. A buyer should compare what is included before treating the prices as equal.
Product line items
The product should be clearly named. If one quote uses an unknown material family and another uses a specific SKU, they are not ready to compare.
SPC flooring, WPC wall panels and PE outdoor WPC should not be mixed.
SKU, finish and product family should be visible.
Product documents can be requested when the SKU is clear.
Work scope line items
Installation cost depends on the room and the floor below. Preparation, trims, skirting, transitions, access and timeline can change the real work.
Existing floor condition should be part of the review.
Edge finishing and transitions should be written clearly.
Furniture, access and schedule assumptions should be confirmed.
A better way to start
Send what you already have: floor plan, room photos, approximate area, current floor and timeline. Enoch can read the route and make the quote easier to compare.
Rough facts are enough to begin.
Photos reduce guessing in the first reply.
A clear scope protects the buyer and the installer.
